Wanaka’s M!NT Collective is recruiting volunteers

Wanaka’s M!NT Charitable Trust (MCT) has recently been established by a group of families in the Upper Clutha with the mission to forge “mint” lives those with intellectual disabilities within an inclusive Upper Clutha Community..The families are seeking volunteers and supporters to join them in their mission. Could this be you?

M!NT are seeking volunteers to assist in the implementation of their 2020 programme which includes empowering young people in our community to participate in events and activities including:   

  • Boot Camp at local gym The Fit Collective 
  • Wanaka Challenge
  • Adaptive skiing (at Snow farm and Cardrona)
  • Rainbow Run
  • Wanaka Tri Club Swim/run series
  • Theatrical Yoga Day
  • Music lessons
  • Drama lessons

You may have seen the M!NT crew having a great time as part of the Ruby swim. The collective are keen to continue the momentum that this event has put in place for 2020 so are reaching out the wider community to stand beside our rangitahi as they take steps towards independence and achieving their dreams.
