DrawThis!

DrawThis! connects people through descriptions and drawings.

We ask older adults to make an audio recording describing something – a pet, a view, a memory, maybe. (And we can help them record it if they like.) Then we put the audio descriptions up on our website. Primary schoolers can go to the website and make a drawing of a description they listen to and upload it. And then we send the drawings to the older adults. 

As SIC students you could help by being the person in the middle – if you know any older adults you could help them make an audio recording to submit to the project. Or if you know any primary schoolers, you could do a drawing with them, bubble to bubble. We’re trying to make as many connections as possible to help people who are feeling lonely and disconnected. and also, it’s a fun thing to do.
