It was so great to hear the news that Bex Sargison, who runs Food for Love, has received an ASB Good as Gold award. She’s certainly a 10/10 gold star A+ brilliant recipient in our eyes, and we love the opportunities and connections she has created for sharing and caring in our community. Students Bella Thomsson and Jessie Fothergill, who are currently bakers for Food for Love as part of their SIC volunteering, were invited to go to the surprise award ceremony, but had work commitments and couldn’t make it.
