The Students Against Dangerous Driving (SADD) is a student lead committee designed to promote safer driving to students in our community. The committee is lead by Kate Goodsell and consists of about 15 year 13 students. Kate says “This terms focus is traffic management in the mornings as there tends to be a lot of confusion by parents and frustration from students. Last Monday (9th March) we were directing traffic to the appropriate parking and dropping off areas. This worked really well as many parents are new to MAC and didn’t know where the appropriate areas were. It also reduced the speed of vehicles as they had to slow down to read the signs.”
